Real Irresponsible

To: realsimpleonline@customersvc.com

A recent blog entry on simply stated featured pacifiers with rhinestones on them.
http://simplystated.realsimple.com/celebrations/2008/03/hip-modern-baby.html
These pacifiers have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and it seems irresponsible of Real Simple not to mention this in the blog entry, where you ought to emphasize that the pacifiers should be for decoration only.

Moreover, on Friday afternoon, 3/28, I left a comment on the blog post explaining the recall, and this comment has not been posted to the blog. I understand that comments are reviewed before being posted, but I would expect that even if Real Simple chose not to post my comment, that you would at least update or modify the post to reflect the recall issue. While initially not mentioning the recall could be simple ignorance, suppressing information regarding the recall is at best selfish.

Your comment is currently the first one listed! (Maybe they put the latest at the top, so you didn't see it? Or maybe it took 'em awhile to moderate them?)

(Um, duh. There are only two comments on the post, yours and then the response to yours. Sorry - I thought there was a whole list!)
